  • Dr. Jacqueline O'Reilly, University of Sussex

    Dr. Jacqueline O’Reilly is professor at the University of Sussex Business School and Co-Director of the ESRC Digital Futures at Work Research Centre, UK. Her most recent research focuses on the digital transformation of work, international comparisons in political economy, and gender and ethnic labour market transitions across the life cycle for youth, parents and older workers.

  • Dr. Janine Leschke, Copenhagen Business School

    Dr. Janine Leschke is professor with special responsibilities in Comparative Labour Market Analysis at the Department of Management, Society and Communication at Copenhagen Business School. She is a member of the Sustainability Governance Group at CBS Sustainability. Her main research area is comparative European labour market and social policy and she is particularly interested in the interface between labour market flexibility and security.

  • Jan-Erik Støstad, SAMAK Cooperation Committee

    Jan-Erik Støstad (born 1953) is Secretary General of SAMAK, the Cooperation Committee of the Nordic Socialdemocratic parties and trade unions. He is a Norwegian politician and economist, and was state secretary in the Labour ministry 2005-2012. He has written one book on social dumping and two books on the provision of welfare services.

  • Dr. Peter D. Blanck, Syracuse University

    Dr. Blanck is University Professor at Syracuse University, granted to eight prior individuals in the history of the University. He is Chairman of the Burton Blatt Institute (BBI) at Syracuse University. Blanck received a Juris Doctor from Stanford University, where he was President of the Stanford Law Review, and a Ph.D. in Social Psychology from Harvard University. Blanck has written articles and books on the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and related laws, and received grants to study disability law and policy.

  • Dr. Emma Slade, University of Bristol

    Dr. Emma Slade is a Senior Lecturer in Marketing at the University of Bristol Business School. Her research mainly focuses on understanding consumer behaviour in the context of emerging digital media and technologies. Slade has published in esteemed peer-reviewed journals such as Psychology & Marketing, European Journal of Marketing, Industrial Marketing Management, Information Systems Frontiers, and Public Management Review. She is a member of the editorial review board for International Journal of Information Management.  

  • Dr. Gemma Hughes, University of Leicester

    Dr. Gemma Hughes is a social scientist concerned with the intersections between organisational practices, health and social care policy and people’s experiences. Gemma’s professional background in the UK public sector inspires her research into ‘real world’ problems. In her research, she seeks to brings social theory to bear on complex health and social care questions, such as why integrated care does not always work, how technologies are adopted in health and social settings and how decision-making is shaped by clinical and organisational contexts. Gemma joined the University of Leicester School of Business as Associate Professor, Healthcare Management in 2023, having previously held research posts at the University of Oxford and the University of Oslo.
