Gloria Ziglioli

PhD candidate at the University of Agder

Ziglioli is a PhD candidate at the University of Agder. Her ongoing project is about the changes of elderly care policies/services/practices along the active ageing paradigm, and the welfare technology as new element of the modern Norwegian welfare state. The project has its roots in the critical perspective on the framing of care crisis and the new ideologies of caring, such as ‘self-care’ and ‘big-society’. Great attention is devoted to getting deeply into the governance dynamics of the local multi-actor network which involve public, for-profit and non-profit actors for developing and sustaining innovative technology-oriented LTC services.
