Would you like to go to London with DIGIT?

We are pleased to announce an open call for funding for up to two DIGIT members to join the DIGIT team on a trip to London from March 18-22, 2024.

The plan is to visit the INNOVATION 2024 conference at ExCeL in London from March 19-20, 2024. Included in the trip is also a visit to the Digital Futures at Work (DIGIT) research center at The University of Sussex Business School on March 21.

What is Innovation 2024?

Innovation is a unique exhibition and conference that brings together government leaders from across the globe responsible for the transformation and acceleration of their public sector organisations and services. The program includes sessions on Artificial Intelligence in public services, developments on sharing data and using technology to create more joined-up public services and talks on how governments can tackle mis and disinformation generated by artificial intelligence tools to name a few.

What is required of you?

You will be required to hold a short (2-3 minutes) presentation about your experience as a DIGIT participant and to act as a secretary at the meeting at the DIGIT research center on March 21st. After the visit, you also need to submit a brief travel report for the other DIGIT participants which includes a part about the scientific content/value of the conference . The report will be published on our homepage.
